POST TENSION STRAND PERTH
Post tension strand PERTH (prestressed concrete steel strand) is composed of 7 twisted high strength steel wires that are stress-relieved (stabilized) to form one steel cable. The strand comes in various sizes. Most common is the 12.7 and 15.2 system – Bare Steel Strand.
The main characteristics of prestressed steel strand is it’s high strength, relaxation performance and yield strength.
